See the good! - Some information and links about positive pedagogy

The central thought in our project was positive pedagogy: we wanted to see if and how it is implemented in our project schools. In Kirkkomännikkö school we have the "See the Good" method which is a scientifically proven teaching method and digital service from Finland, available at https://en.seethegood.app/   A quote from the sight: " Our method teaches children to cultivate positive emotions and recognize strengths in themselves and others. It guides teachers, inspires and motivates students, and promotes collaboration between the home and school." Elina Haapaniemi, a teacher at Kirkkomännikkö school and an educated instructor in this method, gave Greek and Irish students and teachers some practical tools and exercises to find their strenghts with the help of this method.  At the moment there are several Finnish operators in the field of positive pedagogy. What's best in our living environments?

The third and final task in our project made our students to think about the best parts in their own living environments. Everyone has a favourite place where they feel happy - whether it's your own home, a stable or the amusement park in the summer. The photos and drawings were put on the classroom doors for everyone to see. What a nice art exhibition about the places that give us strength and happiness!
